ADA Handrail
ADA Handrails can be included on any gangway to provide added stability while on the span. Our ADA Handrail is a continuous, 1” diameter aluminum tube extended the length of the gangway, typically attached on the inside of both truss structural rails. The ADA Handrail is welded in our factory for durability and is capped on both ends.

Picket Railing
Picket Railing can be added to our traditional gangways to provide added safety and is especially appropriate for protecting small children. Our Picket Railing is a welded system incorporating .75” pickets into our existing truss structural supports.

No Railing (for lengths less than 20 feet)
For shorter spans, 20’ or less, customers can opt for a gangway without structural rails. Although having more flex than our traditional gangways, the rail-less option is attractive for those concerned with sightlines.

A Toe Plate can be added when there is a danger of wheeled objects slipping off the deck. Our Toe plates are made of 2” aluminum flat bar and extend the length of the gangway.
