Arrowwood Resort Rebuilds: A New Marina in Just 9 Months
In July 2023, a devastating thunderstorm destroyed the old marina at Arrowwood Resort in Oacoma, South Dakota. Faced with this unexpected challenge, the resort quickly turned to ABC Boat Docks and Wahoo Docks to rebuild. In an impressive turnaround, a brand-new, full-service marina was completed in just nine months, officially opening on April 21st, 2024.
State-of-the-Art Features
The new marina features 154 slips, including seven larger slips designed for houseboats. Every slip is equipped with electrical hookups, and the marina offers essential amenities like a pump-out station and fuel services, ensuring that boaters have everything they need right at the dock.
Built to Last
The marina’s design prioritizes durability and safety. Sturdy 5’x80’ gangways provide reliable access, and 36 deadweight anchors secure the marina, ensuring stability in all conditions.
