However, boating safety is an issue that we all need to keep in the forefront of our minds this weekend. Most of us know boating safety basics, like ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’.
But have you ever heard of Electric Shock Drowning? Most people haven’t, and this phenomenon is just as insidious as it sounds. At least 5 people died from ESD in 2012, but the numbers are probably much higher because this sinister threat is often mistaken for regular drowning.
